We make sure children have a rich curriculum.
Recent sports funding has enabled us to have more qualified coaching in schools.
Children take part in gymnastics, Dance, invasion games, athletics and children from Year 3 onwards going swimming for a block of ten sessions each year.
Activities such as the Paralympic Roadshow and involvement in the Sainsbury's 'School Games' programme are inspirational experiences for the children and enrich the curriculum. Sports clubs provide additional opportunities and children engage in interschool competitions.

With a total of young people competing in local inter-school competitions this year, we are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport, including those young volunteers, leaders and officials who made our competitions possible.
As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded this year.
Special thanks to Flow in Football, Miss Lloyd-Prest for her commitment to the sports within the school, and all the Staff who have helped with the afterschool activities. We look forward to applying once again in 2019
