Dungeness Power Station
We are very lucky to have a wonderful relationship with Dungeness Power Station (EDF Energy). They provide us with wonderful opportunities such as visiting the site for a special tour of the site, as well as science based workshops. We also offer the members of the team to visit Dymchurch Primary School as much as we're able to host other workshops to help in their curriculum.
If you ever wish to find out what opportunities are available at the visitor centre, just follow the link below for some amazing days out!:

B&Q have been wonderful and without them and the generous donations of paint we have received, we would not have been able to complete some of the amazing art work in school! Thank you B&Q.
We have a wonderful community link with Tesco who kindly donate bread and pastries to us on a regular basis. These are enjoyed by the children during Breakfast club and Crocodile club. Thank you Tesco.
Marks & Spencer
Marks & Spencer kindly offer donations to the school of surplus food to encourage healthy eating within the school. The ingredients received allow the children to make wonderful recipes! Thank you M&S.
Aldi supermarket in Hythe are very generous in supplying food donations of a variety of surplus fruit, vegetables and bakery products which we have been able to share with Breakfast Club, Crocodile Club (after school wrap around care), school kitchen as well as introducing some cooking experiences across the school.
So far the children have managed to make potato and tomato and pepper frittata and freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast club, parsnip and potato crisps for the whole school, tomato pasta sauce and cheesy potato wedges for crocodile club. Thank you Aldi.
Shepway Sports Trust (Link)
Shepway Sports Trust works with Dymchurch Primary School and is a not-for-profit sports charity that promotes high quality competition, sporting and coaching opportunities.
Their key aim is to connect schools, sports clubs and the community of Shepway with a single purpose; to inspire all generations to lead healthy and active lifestyles. Through working with Shepway Sports Trust we have gained our 4th year at Gold Award Status which we are extremely proud of. We even continued to strive through the pandemic to engage our staff and children to participate in a virtual sports day and maintain exercise. In doing so, we also achieved the School Games Virtual Award during the Covid-19 pandemic.
W8 Sports (Link)
W8 Sports currently provide Dymchurch Primary School with lunchtime football coaching for the school team, as well as working with our sports lead to develop core sporting abilities within the inter-house setting.
Religion - St Peter and Paul Church
The church offers an All Age Service every 4th Sunday of the month starting at 10.30am where they have a low key service with fun, puppets, praise and a lot of noise with shakers etc followed by refreshments.
Families are very welcome and all ages. It is quite amazing that the older members of our church love the shakers and get upset if they do not get one!!!
