Physical Education

At Dymchurch, we place huge value on the experiences received during PE lessons.

We use a range of teaching to ensure that pupils at Dymchurch have the opportunity to enjoy their PE lessons. Whether positive or negative, we all remember our PE lessons and this is why we have a large emphasis on individual progress.

We know that all children are different in their abilities and we use Real PE to help us support our learners. Using this scheme of work helps our pupils to assess their own ability, think about how they can improve and think about how they can help others.

Further to this, we have a games/sport lesson each week which allows children to experience the competitive element of sport whilst practising the skills they have learnt in Real PE.  To find out more about Real PE click here.

Each class teacher will have PE on certain days so make sure you check out your child's class page for further information. All PE skills and units taught in Dymchurch can be found in the documentation below.
