Supporting CARM Charity

This week, 2 of our School Council members visited the local charity CARM Romney Marsh (Caring Altogether on Romney Marsh), at their Dymchurch meeting point. The children met with Fiona, the Reminiscence Co-Ordinator, to deliver the £60 donation raised by the children in school through their cake sale at the end of term 6.

Helen Mattock, CARM Manager, stated, “We are very grateful for the donation; as a small, local charity every penny counts and we will use the money to support our much valued and loved services which help to combat loneliness and social isolation”.

We are always very proud of the mature and caring approach that our pupils take to support members of the local community and we look forward to continuing our support with an incredibly worthwhile cause. #fundraising #supportingourcommunity Our Community Multi-Academy Trust - OCMAT
