Virtual Tutoring Pilot

As mentioned in this week's newsletter, Dymchurch School has been asked to take part in a Virtual Tutoring Pilot scheme, organised by the county. Two schools trialed this last week and reports from the children who took part were extremely positive. They enjoyed the sessions and found them incredibly helpful.

 

I would ask that you sign up your child and they give this a go. It is not compulsary, they do not have to attend the whole session and they won't be set any work. There is also no need to sign in every day. It is a space where they can ask questions and get some additional support if they want it.

 

The pilot scheme will initially run for a further 4 weeks and they will try and improve the delivery based on your feedback, so do let me know what you think of it and if there are any improvements that you feel can be made.
